I'm Gabe Cajigas, a software engineer who builds production systems where slow, broken, or sloppy simply isn't allowed to happen.
Sites by Gabe is where I point those same standards at the businesses I actually see every day: the roofer, the bakery, the gym, the one-truck HVAC company. The web work most agencies phone in is the work I genuinely enjoy. I get to take everything I know about building serious software and put it in reach of the shop down the street.
Some of my client work, including Ventura Home Improvement, has been built through Level Up Local, the Northern Virginia agency I co-founded. Same hands, same standards, whichever name is on the invoice.

The rules I build by
Local businesses deserve engineer-grade websites.
The bakery on the corner competes with chains that have entire web teams. I bring the same standards I use in professional software, things like performance budgets, accessibility, and real testing, to businesses that could never justify hiring a team for it.
The person who sells it should build it.
Agencies quote you, then hand the work to whoever is available. Here the person on the call is the person writing the code. Nothing gets lost in translation because there is no translation.
A website is a tool, not a trophy.
Pretty is table stakes. The real question is whether the phone rings, the forms get filled, and Google sends people your way. Every design decision traces back to how your business actually wins a customer.
Honest advice beats a bigger invoice.
If your current site is fine, I will tell you. If you need a few small fixes and not a rebuild, I will tell you that too. I would rather keep your trust than win one oversized project.
